Diana Kimbrell is sole owner of Kimbrell & Company. Prior to opening her own firm, Diana enjoyed a very successful 15-year career in San Francisco broadcast advertising sales, which included KNBR (NBC), KNEW/KSAN (Malrite), KQED (PBS) and KCBS (CBS). During her seven-year tenure at KNEW/KSAN, Diana worked in the top ten media markets as National Sales Manager. Her work included negotiating with national ad agencies as well as national ad accounts such as Sony, Mercedes, and American Express with the majority of her attention in the LA and NYC media markets.
Today, her ability to develop innovative, cost-effective marketing strategies, coupled with results-oriented implementation has distinguished her work. With her strong understanding of the strategic marketing communications and organizational issues facing clients today, she is known for her ability to solve problems, build teams and communicate effectively.
Kimbrell has been recognized by the California Coalition on Donation with their Community Recognition Award for her outstanding work on the public education campaign concerning the importance of donating organs and tissues. She was also a recipient of the Business Environmental Network’s Award for development of Trash Talk, a waste prevention radio show airing on CBS. In 1998, she was nominated for the National Association of Women Business Owners-SF Chapter’s Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award for her unique work in cause-related marketing. And she was nominated in 2003 as one of San Francisco Business Times’ 100 Most Influential Women in the Bay Area.
Ed Lopez – Client Services Marketing
What’s a reformed banker doing at Kimbrell & Company? Ed joined Kimbrell & Company in 2010 and brings extensive analytical experience and creative problem solving skills developed during many years as a Compliance Officer. The state of the financial services industry and the economy caused him to rethink his career choice and realize that he has a creative side that had not been fully nurtured. At Kimbrell & Company, Ed gets to utilize that creative side by helping to establish client strategies, slogans and campaigns. His strong interest in the humanities, along with his innate marketing sense offered a perfect combination to the Kimbrell & Company team. Prior to joining Kimbrell & Company, Ed worked as a regulatory Compliance Officer (CRCM) at WaMu/JPMorgan Chase and had previous engagements with Bank of America Mortgage and Wells Fargo. Ed holds a B.A. in Humanities from San Francisco State University.

Sue Poinsett has served as Financial Director and Business Advisor for Kimbrell & Company since its start. She combines 18 years of sales, organizational and financial management experience in the real estate and financial industries. She provides project budget analysis and constructive business solution.
